This handspun is a total mystery to me. I have little to no recollection of what I spun it from, or when. I have a sneaking suspicion that I got the fiber at NYSWF in 2008, and that it was a farm roving and possibly?? plant dyed. The fiber is a total mystery, but it has amazing qualities. It has a glow like mohair or Wensleydale, but seems too soft for either of those fibers. I think it would work as next-to-skin soft for most people. The yarn I spun from it is a bulky spun singles that has a halo which will continue to develop when working/wearing it. I'd make this skein into a hat.

My memory loss is your gain. 4 full ounces of handspun, ultra bulky, around 6wpi, thick and thin. Total of about 53 yards. I probably paid at least $12 for the fiber before spinning...
