I spun this from gorgeous soft farm blended roving that came from NY grown animals. It contains a blend of wool, alpaca and angora in
soft heathered yellows and greens. I carried along the lovely textured Habu Tsumugi silk in a grassy green shade, and created bumps,
coils and knots, as well as trapping locks, as I went along. Some sections are spun from the wool locks, as well as bits of linen, and
a few areas where I trapped orangy tencel neps in the wool as I spun (a few of these will probably fall out over time, but that's
This yarn is a medium soft, singles yarn that is slightly overspun. It would make an
excellent hat, pair of arm warmers, small cowl, or other small project. (I would use size 11 or larger needles).
I consider this skein next-to-skin soft for all but the very picky.
Approximately 78 yards, and a nice 5.1 ounces! Thick and thin, with very thick bumps, but averaging 8 wpi.
