Each kit contains materials to make these adorable egg-sized chicken shaped egg cozies, including: 6 balls of dk weight Peace Fleece wool/mohair yarn (spring/bright colors shown left, natural/dark colors shown right--exact colors in the kits may vary), loose wool batting for needle felting the comb, eyes, and beak, two felting needles and detailed instructions. You will need to provide #2 knitting needles and a foam block for the needle felting (available on my felt kits page), but it's not really necessary--you can use a soft dry sponge in a pinch.
These cozies make great everyday or Easter table decoration, are great conversation starters, and are fun for imaginative playtime as well. I am a slow knitter who doesn't do well with instructions, and was able to finish these with ease!

This kit will make a gorgeous childs sweater jacket in sizes 4, 6 or 8 with Peace Fleece worsted weight yarn (70%Merino/30%Mohair) in a subtle pink called "Georgia Rose", shown in the detail at left. Trim is done in "Sea Moss" and the jacket has multicolored stitching detail on the collar as a beautiful finishing touch. I've set one of these aside to make for my daughter, and can't wait to show it off.

You will need to provide size 5 and 6 knitting needles (or size to make gauge), one extra of the larger size needle to seam shoulders, 5 stitch markers and a tapestry needle

This "Easy Mittens" Pattern gives instructions to knit mittens from Child's Medium (circumference of hand--6-1/2") through Man's Large (9"). All sizes use one skein or less of Peace Fleece Worsted Weight (sold below). You will need size 5 and 7 double pointed needles (or size needed to obtain gauge), one stitch marker, row counter (very helpful), a scrap of yarn or stitch holder, and a tapestry needle.
I just wanted to add that I tried this pattern myself and made my first pair of mittens--ever--using it...it was a breeze, and I got two pairs of kids medium out of one skein of PF yarn!
